A Glance at Goodwill |
 |
There are many sides to Goodwill. Sure, you can buy great clothes or household items for really cheap. And you can donate your old jeans or maybe your favorite t-shirt that’s a little too tight. Through these actions, you support Goodwill’s mission of helping people with disabilities or disadvantages get and keep jobs. The store where you donate and shop is actually a training center where our clients learn job skills and earn a paycheck. We provide jobs, job counseling, and job placement. Goodwill invites you to explore our website to find out what goes on behind closed doors. |

| FEATURED STORY |
The Debra Johnson you meet at the Somerset Center is not the same woman you would have met six years ago when she started with Goodwill. Back then, Debra was withdrawn into herself and lacked any self-assuredness. Back then, she was surrounded by people who said that she wasn’t going to do any better, so she might as well give up. |
