The Alice H. James Adult Learning Center is designed to help people increase their academic skills to gain employment. Many people also use their increased skill level to earn their GED, advance in their job, or attend college or other training programs.

Goodwill’s Adult Learning Center is a free service that offers one-on-one tutoring from trained community volunteers and certified teachers. Individuals meet with a volunteer tutor on a regular basis to discuss and set specific goals in literacy, math, or other subjects in which better skills are needed.
