Entrance Criteria

The participant:

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years old
  • Must not be dangerous to self or others
  • Must have a vocational disadvantage
  • Must be able to care for personal needs or provide own assistant
  • Must be willing to participate voluntarily
  • Must have a desire to obtain employment

Types of disadvantages may include:

  • Limited work history
  • Socioeconomic challenges
  • Substance abuse
  • Public offenders
  • Work-related injuries
  • School drop-outs

Types of disabilities may include:

  • Physical
  • Emotional
  • Learning
  • Developmental
