Jeremy Greenlee had to rebuild his life, overcoming several obstacles.

One of Jeremy’s barriers was reliable transportation to and from work. After he found employment with assistance from Goodwill career services, he spoke to his career coach about his current transportation issues, which led to him getting a bicycle through the Last Mile to Work program.

Jeremy’s first experience with Goodwill turned into an opportunity with the Goodwill Cars to Work program. He applied for the program – which matches Kentuckians with low or no credit with affordable transportation – with the help of Career Coach Amanda Graham and “flew through the process,” according to Program Manager Katie Ramser.

Now, Jeremy, who was recently promoted to a supervisor position, is riding around in his own car again thanks to Cars to Work and partners Oxmoor, Apprisen and Park Community Credit Union. Goodwill, he said, made the process easy.

“An absolutely wonderful and outstanding experience on all fronts,” he said. “… Their Cars to Work program is a Godsend and its staff was more than accommodating in ensuring that my dream of once again owning my own vehicle became a reality. Thank you so much Goodwill and for your Cars to Work program. You’ve helped me more than you’ll ever know.”
