Goodwill Industries of Kentucky pivoted to offering virtual career services for its program participants in response to the challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the reopening of our career services centers to in-person traffic, Goodwill is still providing this flexibility.

The same can be said for the expungement services it, in partnership with other statewide organizations, have provided. Expungement clinics allow individuals with a criminal history to have records erased in an effort to gain reliable employment and help eliminate poverty.

Goodwill recently held its second virtual expungement clinic on Thursday, July 16. Director of Reentry Services Dennis Ritchie and Northfield Assistant Store Manager Mary Dickenson discussed prior to that the broad impact Goodwill has on its communities and the specific importance of its expungement services on WAVE 3 Listens Live!
