Goodwill recently supported the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and celebrated the philanthropic accomplishments of the Greater Louisville area at the National Philanthropy Day annual awards luncheon.

“We are honored to be a part of this special day,” said Goodwill Annual Fund and Grants Manager Jeff Hollis, who is also a member-at-large for the Louisville chapter of the AFP Board of Directors. “Goodwill recognizes that we are one of many amazing organizations that share a concern for human welfare and are focused on promoting generosity and care throughout our communities.”

National Philanthropy Day is a special day set aside to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions that philanthropy – and those active in the philanthropic community – have made to our lives, our communities, our nation, and our world.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is the professional association of individuals responsible for generating philanthropic support for a wide variety of nonprofit charitable organizations.
