Goodwill congratulates Chief Financial Officer Mark Hohmann, who was named among Louisville Business First’s list of “20 People to Know in Accounting.”
Louisville Business First created the “20 People to Know” list to introduce readers to people who are high achievers within their respective organizations.
The publication asked Hohmann to describe the most rewarding aspect of his job, to which he replied:
“Hands down, it is meeting people who are either employed or being served by Goodwill. I sat in a class with 10 people still living in halfway houses or in the Louisville Department of Corrections and were taking part in Goodwill’s Soft Skills Academy. To witness that humility of a person who has made a mistake and is ready and willing to get busy with life and work again is awesome. We all deserve a second chance. I love to see these folks graduate from our academy and move on with a job that helps support their families.”
