Goodwill Industries of Kentucky has strived to continue its duty of giving hope to individuals with disabilities and disadvantages during this difficult time.

Given the novel-coronavirus-related measures we’ve been forced to take in recent weeks, Goodwill is finding new ways to place individuals into full-time jobs and assist those who need basic job skills. Through virtual soft skills classes and mock interview training, Goodwill has placed hundreds of individuals in jobs amid the pandemic.

Goodwill’s COVID-19 Support & Resource Portal, available at goodwillky.org/resources and complete with connections to pandemic-related necessities and services, has also helped Kentuckians navigate through this uncertain time.

VP of External Affairs DeVone Holt was featured in media reports across the Commonwealth, from Bowling Green to Lexington to Louisville, discussing the nonprofit’s effort to continue its mission during the pandemic.
