We’re always searching for new ways to reach our customers and advance our mission. In 2021, we launched a new retail initiative – the 2nd Chance Outlet. The Outlet is the first of its kind in Kentucky and gives our customers a new, exciting way to shop Goodwill.

We pride ourselves on offering second chances for individuals who have paid their debt to society and proved themselves ready to enter the workforce. We also give our donors’ gently loved items a second chance by selling them at our stores – and now our first outlet.

At the Outlet, merchandise is sorted into categories and sold by the pound on a conveyor belt and in large blue boats, as opposed to individually priced items on racks at our retail stores. Prices start at 0.45 cents per pound. The outlet store sells items that have been donated and cycled through our retail stores. It also offers a membership program, which allows customers to have first dibs at product.
