Our Vice President of External Affairs DeVone Holt has been named a “Forty Under 40” Hall of Fame inductee by Louisville Business First.

Holt joins two other Louisville-area executives – Benjamin Breier, CEO of Kindred Healthcare LLC, and Cynthia Knapek, president of the Leadership Louisville Center – as 2021 inductees. Louisville Business First created the “Forty Under 40” Hall of Fame to recognize past recipients who have continued to excel in their careers and serve the community. Holt was originally nominated for the “Forty Under 40” in 2005.

The three will be honored by Louisville Business First, along with the newest class of “Forty Under 40” honorees, via print and online September 24 and at a live breakfast event September 21 at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville.

Louisville Business First had this to say about Holt:

“In addition to playing a key role on the executive staff that is responsible for establishing strategic vision, culture and policies for Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, Holt leads the fundraising, communications, marketing, public relations, advertising and government affairs functions of one of the highest-performing Goodwill enterprises in the organization’s international network.

In this role, he is leading the organization through its largest development project, which will relocate its headquarters and career service center to a 20-acre campus in the heart of West Louisville, where Holt led a five-month community engagement strategy, full-scale marketing campaign and the initial phase of a multi-million dollar finance strategy.”
